PRODUCER EXTRAORDINAIRE NICK PEACE RELEASES
"HIGH-POWERED" SOUNDSCAPE

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Music executive and producer extraordinaire Nick Peace, after collaborating with Hip-Hop notables Mac Dre (R.I.P.), Andre Nickatina, Brotha Lynch Hung, San Quinn and many more, is set to premiere his seventh release as executive producer and his debut as a featured producer with, Nick Peace "High-Powered" on the Million Dollar Dream (MDD) label.

"I love working with artists on their solo projects, but with "High-Powered" I wanted to feature my unique sound with some known artists and newcomers," said Peace in his Oakland, California studio. Nick Peace features past collaborators Mac Dre, Keak Da Sneak, Andre Nickatina, San Quinn, Brotha Lynch Hung, Smoov-E, Equipto & Mike Marshall and has welcomed newcomers, Nocturnal Hustlers and Jackpot on "High-Powered".

Nick Peace is reputed as a standout producer beyond the Bay Area's legendary Hip-Hop community and his signature unorthodox film score-like sound is present throughout "High-Powered". Standout tracks on "High-Powered", as recognized in a pre-release survey of DJs and radio programmers, are Peace's duets with Mac Mall and Mike Marshall ("Play the Chemist"), Keak Da Sneak ("Paranoid") and the late Mac Dre's ("Toys"). Peace's illustrious sounds are complemented with 14 more lyricists who bless the mic with diverse subject matter and consistently aggressive game and lyrical wit.

Nick Peace's "High-Powered" was inspired partially by his recent visit to Italy's countryside where his ancestors are from. "It was a month long trip, I returned hungry and ready to make music". "This last trip to Italy changed my life and gave me the inspiration to finish the album", said Peace. Along with inspiration gained from his visit to Italy, Nick Peace's unique sound on "High-Powered" is influenced by his innate ability to tell a story musically and without vocals. His courageous and unusual yet masterful use of sample technology and funk combined with his arrangement of classical instruments is what sets Peace's sound apart from his contemporaries.
