Million Dollar Dream

The biggest treasure 4 me on this CD is the musical landscape. A lot of obscure samples of music one usually would not associate w/ rap. While a lot of producers these days are stick'n 2 the script (club bangers & sped up soul samples) Nick Peace pushes the envelope & explores new sonic concepts. This is something new & fresh. I have been familiar w/ million dollar dream since the mid-90's when they dropped a few compilations. Back then they had various artists from northern cal that were makin moves & put'm all on. Same formula on this one - a lot of northern cal artists (Mac Dre, Cellski, Keak da Sneak, Andre Nickatina...) & everybody did they thing. It's so refresh'n 2 listen 2 - u get 2 hear quality artists over a variety of super sauced up beatz that u NEVA heard before (trust me). This one here is a bonafied winner. If you are familiar w/ million dollar dream releases - this is a MUST HAVE. If you like bay area or west coast - or if u like ANY rap music @ all u GOTTA peep this.
